We are going to enjoy sunshine and blue skies today, and then some fresh snow as the New Year approaches tomorrow.

First up, Yakebitaiyama reporting 30cm early this morning, they must have got a lot more than the rest of us over there.

It's snowing; lightly to more moderate, depending on where you might be in our wide area.

It has turned colder again and we have a nice new layer of snow.

I am at Okushiga Kogen early this morning and it is snowing quite heavily as I write this report. Nice big flakes, too.
