Good morning from Shiga Kogen.
Varying snow this morning with Yakebitaiyama reporting 25cm but I'm seeing less than that. Still everywhere is good and white and the snow is gradually increasing with a healthy looking forecast for the coming week.
Okushiga Kogen ski area has opened this morning and has three lifts operating (Number 1, 2 and 3 pairs).
Perhaps surprisingly, there don't seem to have been any other new openings to report. Hmmmm. Perhaps I suppose we need more snow for that to happen.
So for now, we have 6 ski areas open --- but none of them are properly lift/course connected yet.
