Morning from Shiga Kogen.
It's snowing; lightly to more moderate, depending on where you might be in our wide area.
Some nearby regions have enjoyed some heavy snowfall since yesterday; not so much here. Very early morning, Yakebitaiyama reported 4cm of fresh.
I am looking at the official live status and as of 9am it does not look like Terakoya is open, along with a few other areas. So I cannot proclaim 'fully open' just yet. But we are definitely 'mostly open'.
The official site is promoting a 'Monkey Show' at the end of January. I'm not sure how I feel about that, and admittedly do not know many details. I just hope that all the participating monkeys were consulted and keen to participate.
