Myoko Now
Myoko Now: Sunday 6th February 2022
OK, I know there are those who will doubt the total for today, after the big numbers yesterday.
Myoko Now: Saturday 5th February 2022
It is on. The snow is just pouring down, the roads are not plowed, the lifts are just starting to move: it's a snow day.
Myoko Now: Friday 4th February 2022
It turned pretty nice for most of the morning yesterday; in the afternoon, rain came to Joetsu, down by the coast.
Myoko Now: Thursday 3rd February 2022
Just a little bit of very nice, light snow overnight (thankfully, in a way; caught up on snow clearing. The roofs are safe!).
Myoko Now: Wednesday 2nd February 2022
After one good blast of heavy snowfall early last evening the snow stopped until the very early morning.
Myoko Now: Tuesday 1st February 2022
Just a little coloring of snow overnight (by locals standards; it still was 5cm of nice light flakes).
Myoko Now: Monday 31st January 2022
More snow. It just kept coming down all night, with a bit of wind as well. All meaning I needed to be ready to clear snow.
Myoko Now: Sunday 30th January 2022
The snow never completely stopped yesterday, with very very very light snow continuing to fall during the day.
Myoko Now: Saturday 29th January 2022
The snow has just stopped, and we have a little sun now streaming through the clouds.
Myoko Now: Friday 28th January 2022
The snow really picked up this morning, and it's coming down beautiful, fluffy, snowflakey flakes.
Myoko Now: Thursday 27th January 2022
The snow has returned, falling pretty steadily now, with a bit of wind from the northeast.
Myoko Now: Wednesday 26th January 2022
Another early report today; I'm going snowshoeing.
Myoko Now: Tuesday 25th January 2022
Sunny day, after a pretty gray Monday. Should stay pretty cold, so it's nice to get a little solar radiation, get those roofs all nice and shiny and snow-free and get ready for the next blast!
Myoko Now: Monday 24th January 2022
Hey, I thought it was supposed to be nice out today! Instead we have tiny ice crystals falling, which translates into a gray, foggy morning.
