enderzero 0
I may check this out this weekend if I have time. Anyone know when it is supposed to be finished?
nekobi 0
i think it's supposed to open may 1. check out Fuji-Q highlands in the meantime. dodonpa is amazing-- 106 mph in less than 2 seconds you actually feel the skin on your faces being pulled back.
DrMabuse 0
Yeah, I've done Dodonpa - excellent ride. I've only got 1 face though.
MistaSparkle 0
I used to live across from that monster.... they've been building it for the past year and it looks pretty wild to see a coaster of its size in the middle of a city block.
Ocean11 0
If you have two faces, you could say "Let's play Dodonpa with us", then you could all be exciting.
RayInJapan 0
I saw it up close when Momo and I stayed at the Tokyo Dome Hotel when we saw Bon Jovi in concert at the dome in Jan. It looks like it will be a lot of fun. It seemed complete when we saw it - the maintenance guys were doing what looked like were some minor finishing touches. They're also creating a small indoor water park - I think the coaster goes right through the building if I remember right but either way - lots of fun to be had next time we go down that way for a concert... roller coasters are cool... blinkin'ek 0
World class. The best. Oh just look at that. Ooooooohhh. Trip to Tokyo this spring/summer I reckon.
nzlegend 1
Just went to Nagashima Spa land in Mie yesterday and rode the current worlds NUMBER 1 out and back rollercoaster. It has FOUR Guiness world records. Highest (97m), highest drop(95), longest (2.5km)and fastest (157kph)in its class. A Cedar Point coaster will surpass it soon but for now its the best! STEEL DRAGON 2000 is its name and it is fantastic! mind blowing! you really have to see it and ride it to appreciate it!! I rode it 6 times and still want more!
nzlegend 1
Top thrill Dragster is the coaster in America that will top this scroll to the bottom of the page to the link and click on the movie.....amazing coaster 193kph, 128 metres and 90degees vertical.....I wanna go! http://badnitrus.coasterbuzz.com/coasters.asp?id=
viv&kev 0
We want to go on that Steel Dragon - it's a bit bigger than Fujiyama isn't it? Looks great.
nekobi 0
fujiyama is only (!) 79m. crazy how high it is when you are at the top. this mie coaster isn't faster than dodonpa, is it? dodonpa goes 107mph- what's that in kph?
xxx 2
Dodonpa is the fastest - but dodonpa has no lift hill and is classified as a different kind of coaster (forgot the name, but you know all that air that builds up and releases you...)
