IIIII 2
Going to be traveling again soon - need a good read. Nothing too heavy, a light read. Any good recent recommendations?
enderzero 0
I recently read "Girl With A Pearl Earring" by Tracy Chevalier. My pops told me it was a lot like "Memoirs of a Geisha" - which I really enjoyed. It isn't that good - but if you want something light you could read on a long plane ride it might be worth looking into. Right now I am captivated by Neal Stephenson's "Cryptonomicon". I like long books, and at 1200 pages this one qualifies. It is super interesting and really well written.
zebedee 1
Michael Crichton "Prey" - an airport book for sure but quite interesting.

neversummer 0
just read 'five quarters of an orange-joanne harris' which was really good. quite a different writing style but very interesting all the same. Now i onto 'picture maker-penina spinka' and this, although not the light reading your after, inuits and viking 14th century story, it will last you a decent period of time whilst travelling. dancing_barefoot 0
I think that Michael Moore just comes across as being extreme for the sake of it.
