Ocean11 0
or I know where I'm putting my money.
Ocean11 0
Excuse me, but this is definitely 'Snow Talk' here. Let me spell it out for Admins who don't pay attention; Jellyfish and stinkbugs have both been put forward as reliable indicators of a good season of snow. I want to know where everybody stands on this questiona science. NOW PUT THIS BACK WHERE IT BELONGS! Please. Jellyfish... pah! Primitive superstition.
nori-chan 0
Don't look like about snow for me!
IIIII 2
Both crap.
crazyski 0
It all depends on if they're fighting on land or in water, right? Let's go catch ourselves a bunch of both, and have them duke it out on the top of Niseko. That'd be fun.
pjem 0
You do that while I ride down the hill
damian 0
I didnt see this one. The jelly fish is already winning. Is there any snow? no. The jelly fish said there would be none.
Ocean11 0
Don't take financial advice from men in shiny shoes who change their story half way through the game. Jellyfish were predicting a season like the last one, I'll remind you. Where's the November dumps, jellyfish?
damian 0
you just dont understand the way of the jelly.
yodel 0
Jellyfish are cool. Kamemushi are not cool. That's it.
Ocean11 0
A bit too much literal-mindedness going on here. Starting with the admins. Knuckleheads. Non-scientists.
Yuki's Passion 1
The Kamomushi have been out and about but dont think as much as last winter - but, maybe that was because I was so excited to be living in Niseko for the season. Now, Im stuck in this jinkoyuki hell pit. Ahhhh, if you hear about some gaijin robbing a bank in Hiroshima today and gets away with 60,000,000 YEN, I promise, I wont be hiding up in Kutchan. Stay away from Hana 3, bananas and strawberries too
badmigraine 0
They laughed when I showed up at the party in my jellyfish hat and stinkbug brooch.
Goemon 0
I think the mighty Siberian swan is the most graceful prognosticator of them all:
Ocean11 0
Swans shift their elegant arses because it gets cold, not because heavy precipitation is imminent. Whereas stinkbugs breed like billy-ho when they know the deep snow is going to lie heavy on their eggs. Don't ask me how they know - but they do. Now can we move this thread back where it belongs?? r45 4
Stinkbugs are just silly. And smelly. They know NOTHING.
xxx 2
So who do you think is winning / has won? I think grizzlys would win out ultimately. (where is that grizzly fixated poster from way back?)
