I am forever in amazed that in 100km+ winds people will still try to use umbrellas? In a country that is used to typhoons one would think that people would be a little bit more clued in.

These people ( that the news showed) were 9 times out of 10 women. Are they stupid?

It makes watching TV that more fun seeing those umbrellas go pop. Why they use them in Lighting storms is another question in its self also. Lets also look at the people driving in floods where are you going most likely your going to get washed away.

what gets me though is every time there is a big typhoon you can be guaranteed that somebody will fall off their roof and die while rying to get better tv reception or something. some people have no common sense. or are they just plain stupid wakaranai.gif

maoriboy - they need their tv to see all the hightlights of the Olympics and all the kandoteki scenes of Japanese athletes doing their stuff (for the 56839493th time). Can't you see? ;\)
