Dean 0
Just made the news here in Oz that there was a size 4 earthquake in Nigatta today. Anyone give anymore info??
SnowJapan.Com#2 0
It was an aftershock. In the same places (Ojiya/Nagaoka region). It didn't cause any damage. Yuzawa hardly felt anything. Not much to report. Nothing to worry about. They say that the trend of less earthquakes is not affected by this (ie that trend of fewer will continue) See this http://www.snowjapan.com/e/about/niigata-giveaway.html
veronica 2
How awful is that, on the day when the good news about the shinkansen opening this happens. If there is a god, he's not very funny....
fukdane 2
I got woke up by an freekin' earthquake this morning here in Fukushima. Not the best way to be woken up on 1st Jan. (or any other day of course) (and nothing to do with niigata, sorry for straying)
