Exactly it's much bigger compared with normal 'raddish' ( small red one )

 

Hum... Daikon legs, that is usually used for women with massive legs which are straight massive from thighs to ankles, no constriction.

But if we call some women 'You have daikon legs', I'm sure you would have been ignored in the future !!!

Don`t have it back in UK but have eaten it in New Zealand when living there. ALso saw a phallic shaped Daikon at the weekend, women were praying to it and then chow down on it, part of a local festival type thing after New Years usually!!!!! eek.gif Worship then munch!! eek.gif lol.gif

You can get it at Indian or Chinese supermarkets, at least, in the UK. I first encountered it as "mooli" in the Indian grocers in Rusholme, the Indian part of Manchester near all the colleges.

You should generally store vegs in the way they grow, so upright, if poss, is best.

I read an article somewhere on Japan and they were talking about the youth generally getting bigger, and they said about the daikonashi and an increasing number of them.
