thelovelyjen 0
Now that was not a nice way to wake up. Just how powerful was that earthquake? It sure felt it here!
big-will 7
Felt that here too - looks like it was centered just below you there jen....
wendy-cake 0
Is it just me or are the an increasing number of these nasty things happening recently? It sure seems that way.
maoriboy 0
boy that one even woke me up....damn annoying that
sock_monkey 0
woke me up too, news says it was 6.1, i thought the one from two months ago (4.3) felt stronger. epicenter was in Chiba.
joshnii 2
Probably was, just the epicenter was different etc. Another good example of why the shindo system has more "meaning" to people on the ground rather than the magnitude.
sock_monkey 0
that's the thing, the difference in distance isn't that big, though this one was deeper by 10 or 20km.
joshnii 2
Great system the shindo one, the one that matters!
Yuki's Passion 1
I went to a mutual friend of Fattwins and I, Tatsus place on Saturday night, who lives in a sweet place on the 37th floor not too far from USJ. He said the last big earthquakes in Kansai, back in October, his building was swaying for close to 3-4 minutes because hes so high up! I live on the 4th floor and only felt it for close to a minute or so. I could never live that high up in a building - eventhough his scenery at night is just breathtaking. Sorry ta digress some - hope yall dont have any aftershocks. Earthquakes scare this $hit outta me

NutteyCubey 0
That earthquake guy at the press conference described that region to the east of Tokyo as an "earthquake nest".
base40 0
Thats nice, seeing as though I spend much of my time on top of that nest.
