Fossil 0
Im heading for Hakuba as it is only a couple of hours away by train and Im told that the range of facilities and slopes are bigger in Hakuba. Opinions anyone????
quattro 1
Hakuba is probably cheaper to get too. But either way you cant go wrong skiing is equally as good in Hakuba as in say Niseko depending on what you looking for. The problem with flying in Japan it so damn expensive. grungy-gonads 54
Nova. For some English lessons. (It might take some time though, according to their tv ads progress is not too fast..) Hokkaido will be good, as will Hakuba and other areas. Bit of research needed I think!

Fattwins 0
so many choices not enough time. If you are flying into and out of tokyo staying on the island of honshu will be easiest.

thursday 1
now, that's not what I'm saying. I said the snow is wet wet wet at the end of a season. You know, just before it melts? Hakuba goes into June, that is good, but in June I would be doing sand sea and sun.
journey_man 0
How is the snow in Hakuba (or Shiga) at the moment? Am at Niseko at the moment but wondering about visiting?

I think it's pretty reasonable, especially if you're flying in from overseas and can get those Air Pass fares, or Star Alliance rates. I've got 3 internal flights next month for 30,000 yen, which is just over 130 quid total !
