Hard to buy skis in Niseko?

I want to but a pair of powderskis in Niseko area.

But a couple of Niseko sites state that there are very few skishops.

And that the ones there are, are quite expensive??

 

Any idea where to buy skis in Niseko, then? - used is fine with me, if in OK condition.

 

Also read online that it's close to impossible to use a creditcard in Niseko? Is it really true?!?

Yeah, Niseko 343 at the bottom by the Seico mart has all the free skiing gear you could hope for. Prices arent worse than anywhere else.

 

The place in Kutchan has great stuff. I got my Rossi 140 Free rides there, and my enemys plus marker 1200s for 30,000. Got some great prices but have to be there at the right time.

Great prices in Kuchan adn they take credit cards.

You can find really good deals in kutchan. And there are buses going down there all the time.

 

I remember seeing bigstix 106 for 30,000

And they have a good backcountry ski boot selection. So far it is the best I have seen in Japan.

I saw some great deals in one shop in Kutchan in mid Feb last year. Probably the same place you're talking about. It may be also the same place as the link. If so prices will drop further into the season. That place will also takkyubin if you order from elsewhere and want the order sent somewhere.
