mattlucas 0
Re-Gluing Skins - Step 1 - Skin fuzzy side down with wax paper or brown paper bag over the sticky side. Iron till glue is hot. Re-Gluing Skins - Step 2 - Peel Wax paper or brown paper bag back from hot glue. If done correctly some or all of the glue should stay on the paper. Yuki's Passion 1
So it worked Toque?
mattlucas 0
Kind of Most of the glue just slid off to the sides where I then had to peel it off One thing that happened though is that the glue that remains is a lot stickier and cleaner I'm going to put the new glue over top on Thursday
Yuki's Passion 1
Classic... Lets use glue and an iron on the tatami...
mattlucas 0
I knew somebody would comment on that Not only does it get very hot but the glue is extremly flammable
SerreChe 2
Well done on the ironing bit. Gambatte on the re-application of the new layer. Looks like the whole process is pretty difficult. Judging from Toque's experience would probably ask a shop to do it for me if I had to.
