connackers 0
Have decided to do a season next winter and reckon Rossland in British Columbia looks like a pretty sweet place to do it. It has Red Mountain ontop of it, Whitewater less than an hour away and Fernie 3hours away. Is anyone else heading over that way or been?
mattlucas 0
Kickass place I'm planning on going home for Christmas and was hopefully going to get a few days in at Red. Have a good time.
connackers 0
Cheers! Looks pretty good and a mate from here lives over there so should be able to help me out with contacts. Can`t wait - just hope it`s a better season than last!
Karnidge 2
Never heard of this one. Big place?

connackers 0
Seems from that thread that it gets more snowbums than I thought. I`m an intermediate snowboarder, so definitely a resort to grow into Am hoping to get into a bit of backcountry and hiking also so whitewater sounds tempting too.
mattlucas 0
Most of those places get a fair amount of bums. They are cheap and the skiing is really good. You will be an expert rider by the end of the season. That hill is sick.
Fattwins 0
hey but be carefull dude that hill has dangerous runs. Think of a blue run as a black and a black as an extreme run. most runs that are black or double will have rocks and or trees in the middle of crux areas. take your time to grow into the place at your own pace. connackers 0
Sounds like good advice and a class place. Any favourite areas that you`d recommend?

connackers 0
Just snowboard. Will hopefully have enough money from here and from working back in England for a few months to get a flat and just bum around for the season
mattlucas 0
It's to bad you can't get a season pass for lot's of those hills In the Rockies you can get a pass that is good for a ton of mountains. Not so expensive either.
Fattwins 0
Whitewater is a cool place but youll need a car if you want to ski there.
