Not often you see cows in fields in Japan.

Well not in these parts anyway.

And I hate seeing them all heated up in a shed all year.

 

Met about 40 of them today out in the fields in Tsunan over in Tokabochi's patch.

They all came over to us for a chat, very friendly bunch.

 

Beautiful creatures actually.

Route 117 going from Tokamachi to Nozawa.

Just out of Tsunan town there's a big sign turning left, one of the things is the farm, Myoho Bokujo.

It's about 10km or so up from there, pretty area.

Thanks muika. Looks like a good idea for a drive out. Want to check out that Akiyamago area anyway same kind of area by the looks.

 

Yes that area is definitely worth a look.

Sunflowers in summer are supposed to be quite spectacular too.
