grungy-gonads 54
Yes If you use the Penguin browser. I think that's what it's called, you can download it
grungy-gonads 54
Arrived! It's kind of 'mini'!
grungy-gonads 54
Not much to say really. It looks very nice, smaller than I thought, light, and no lag at all with os7. Other than that, it's an iPad!
NoFakie 45
I often have trouble selecting text in copy and paste on IOS, even on the iPad. It often won't let me select text inside a text box. Such text can be selected easily on a pc. It bothers me more than the lack of flash.
Doktor Avalanche 0
That annoys me too. The "lag" on my ipad 3 though with ios7 is a real annoyance that wasnt there before.
Dunga 1
"Lag" = apple coding to annoy you enough to upgrade to android.
grungy-gonads 54
Or perhaps just an inevitable consequence of technology ageing and new software. You have a choice to buy or not.
grungy-gonads 54
Unless you are stupid of course.
pie-eater 207
Or perhaps just an inevitable consequence of technology ageing and new software. You have a choice to buy or not. No, you have to, grungy. You are just being a rebel.
Alexander L 80
"Lag" = apple coding to annoy you enough to upgrade to android. What a load of twoddle. So Apple has become Microsoft and Android no leader the new Apple? What a complete load of twoddle again.
ProbablyaCrazyPerson 2
Had a look over the weekend, it does seem much smaller somehow. Going to be difficult to distinguish/choose between that and the mini.
Thundercat 60
The profile is much smaller. And of course it's a lot lighter. I'm loving it so far and looking forward to not having to take my laptop to work any more!
grungy-gonads 54
Is this your first ipad BM?
Thundercat 60
Yes. First timer. Looks like my wife might get the mini now.
grungy-gonads 54
Oh if you are a first timer I am sure you will absolutely be loving it. I like it, but it's just a nicer iPad for me. Which is still great of course, but I'm used to using it many hours every day.
grungy-gonads 54
ipad mini retina went on sale online a minute or two ago!
rach 1
Thanks for the heads up!! Ordered. 1-3 days.
Kansaiash 6
Saw a drop test on youtube for the ipad air. Be careful with them, the one i saw spider-webbed the screen with a drop face down onto soft dirt.
grungy-gonads 54
Did they blend it to?
big-will 7
I'm considering getting one. But can't make up my mind for the smaller or bigger. My larger hands say bigger.
Alexander L 80
big, Will.
BagOfCrisps 24
I saw them both yesterday side by side. Even the Air looks fairly small, there's not a huge difference looking at them. Perhaps more so in usage.
teikiatsulover 6
Yes. First timer. Looks like my wife might get the mini now. Your wife likes to play with your mini, too?
Alexander L 80
mini is good 'cos it's lightweight and fits easily into handbags and such <- women like this. I prefer the full sized so the picture is bigger and the battery lasts longer. I don't like looking at the small screens.
Thundercat 60
Yes. First timer. Looks like my wife might get the mini now. Your wife likes to play with your mini, too? Until now she's been handling the full size one. I think she may need a break! Seriously though, while I really enjoy having the iPad for work I haven't found much use for it at all in my personal life. What does everyone else use theirs for?
