snowdude 44
Was like that here last week but luckly just normal crouds today albiet reasonably busy.
igloo 3
And here was I expecting some amazing photos!
muikabochi 208
Remind me never to go to a popular skijo on a kids free weekend again. I know I'm spoit being able to go quickly weekdays (well lots of the time). But oh no, never again. That just wasn't fun at all.
DumbStick 13
You tricking us into thinking beautiful images await!
Doktor Avalanche 0
You should have chosen Mt Granview, muikabochi.
muikabochi 208
I think you are absolutely right. No photos today, sorry. What are the usual excuses that come out of the bag? Blizzard, forgot camera, camera broke, couldn't be bothered << Take your pick!
ippy 66
i cant believe you dont love a good old fashioned resort cluster****! I LOVE taking pictures of ridiculous numbers of people riding tiny areas of the resort. Its hilariously funny!
muikabochi 208
Nahh. I like trees. Didn't actually take my proper camera just the little one but didn't take any photos - not even of the cheese! That was eaten waiting for a lift. 20 minutes for a lift and mad crowded runs. Not my idea of fun at all really. I'll stick to mid-week. (Though I am happy for the resorts being busy, I may add!)
DumbStick 13
I like your 'lonely people' type shots as well muika. Don't suppose there were many of them today!
tokabochi 9
As someone else said muika, you made the mistake of shuning Mt Granview, for sure.
Metabo Oyaji 71
Now if Mt. Granview had been busy, that would have been worth pictures, even keitai ones. (Not that Mt. Granview is not always the most photogenic resort on the planet, of course.)
muikabochi 208
I now realise my silly mistake. But definitely will remember in future. Of course Mt Granview does actually indeed have some rather wonderful views.
grungy-gonads 54
Was it the kids free thing that really did it I wonder? They are definitely days to try and avoid.
joshnii 2
Was on the local Niigata news last night. Apparently, increase in children of 5% at Naeba. Extremely vague report, so probably meaningless. They also showed the all night thing at Kandatsu........and the disco balls!
Dunga 1
Nahh. I like trees. Didn't actually take my proper camera just the little one but didn't take any photos - not even of the cheese! That was eaten waiting for a lift. 20 minutes for a lift and mad crowded runs. Not my idea of fun at all really. I'll stick to mid-week. (Though I am happy for the resorts being busy, I may add!) 20 mins is a sort wait for lifts at mt bullsh*t here in OZ.
muikabochi 208
Then I probably would not enjoy it! Again probably spoilt by very quiet mid-week places round here. Once you know that, the idea of queueing for crowded slopes lacks appeal in a big way
Dunga 1
Yeah I got the feeling of not waiting in lines even on pow days in japan mid week. Was awesome not having to wait. It's just not fair I tells ya!
Mick Rich 78
Then I probably would not enjoy it! Again probably spoilt by very quiet mid-week places round here. Once you know that, the idea of queueing for crowded slopes lacks appeal in a big way So do you fancy a quieter, mid-week return tomorrow, or how about hiking the Big G? cheeseman 1
Weekdays are just so much more fun aren't they. IF the skijo fully opens that is.
Adam williams 1
Just booked a sneaky 1 day midweek trip to maiko for next week and have a quick question, the shuttles from echigo yuzawa, Are they running from the first shink from Tokyo? Cheers
