pie-eater 207
Check out Everton up there in 4th though still. Wonder how long they will keep that up the crafty toffees.
scouser 4
Manager reckons CL is possible. I suppose it is. Hey, pie-eater?
Thundercat 60
Moyes was named manager of the month. I'm very interested to see where this season is going to take them. C'mon Toffees!
grungy-gonads 54
Didn't they start off last season in a similar way? They'll probably end up top 7.
Thundercat 60
Last season they had 7 points in their first 10 matches. It took them 15 matches to get up to 14 points (which they've done in only 7 matches this season). They almost always do much better in the second half of the season so a good start could mean big things!
scouser 4
They're Everton, they'll bottle it. I can talk!
Tubby Beaver 209
It could hinge on how they come thru the transfer window
NoFakie 45
Pundits have already been saying that Everton finished fourth the last time they started well. fwiw, that time they went on to lose in the CL qualifier before the group stage. Everton play a lot of long ball, as do Newcastle, which some teams handle much better than others. I think it's still a bit early days to call.
Thundercat 60
With Pienaar and Baines playing on the left side together there has been a lot less of the long ball this season. Might be part of the success they've been having. Jelavic has been quite the force as well and has proven to be very good value.
