While up in Sapporo at the weekend, I was amazed at how much more snow there was around Yuzawa area than Sapporo. Of course I don't know the difference in altitude etc, but just always assume Hokkaido would have more. There was still plenty around Sapporo, just not the 3-4metre snow canyons I saw in Yuzawa Link to post Share on other sites
