As the topic says, exciting stuff.

As many of you will know, due to rumblings on March 12th our previous webcam got broken and subsequently we decided to move office to rural Minamiuonuma just to the north of Yuzawa.

A great move that turned out to be --- the only downer is not being able to have that great position for the webcam.

But never mind, we have to make do with what we have...and what we do have is this:

Exact location unknown, but it's basically in the Shiozawa area, looking north. About 15km north of central Yuzawa. This area usually gets similar amounts of snow as Yuzawa, perhaps sometimes a bit less.

Next week we will add "previous images" to it's position in the webcam center (as well as checking and cleaning up that section of the site as well). Also hope to get some fun "time-lapse" videos going as well.

The lights in the distance are indeed of the metropolis that is Minamiuonuma.

The 'inbetween Shiozawa and Muikamachi' bit... they kind of merge into each other.

Blue lights are actually just some silly lights on the camera. Need to find a way to turn those off. But not now, need a rest.

Still in the process of getting to grips with the new webcam.

Hoping to get some cool time-lapse clips done.

If you click on the small icon bottom right of the video below it will appear larger.

The previous photo pages may not be working yet.

We plan to get the Webcam Centre checked & sorted this coming week too.

Here's the day that was yesterday. I think we have got the settings all right now.

Click on the little icon bottom right to get full screen.

Hopefully there won't be many more days that we can see the ground.
