tokabochi 9
This is just an excuse to use one of the Topic Prefix thingies. But a decent topic anyway. Favourite ski-jo in the Yuzawa area? Mine would be Centleisure Maiko I reckon.
muikabochi 208
As you included Centleisure, which is actually in Minamiuonuma, I suppose I can include Hakkai as well. Hakkai-san Centleisure Maiko Gala Yuzawa - when not busy Kagura - when I'm not bored of it
Tubby Beaver 209
Kagura- If you can go on a weekday then you'll have all the spots to yourself
RobBright 35
Kagura Or Ishiuchi maruyama Further afield then cent leisure maiko.
brit-gob 9
Centleisure is about 1km away from Ishiuchi, janai-desuka? I want to rediscover Gala this season, on a day when it isn't busy. South area.
Slippery Jim 65
+1 for Kagura weekdays
grungy-gonads 54
No love for Naeba?
Tubby Beaver 209
I don't mind Naeba, it has natskashiiiii factor for me since it was the first ski-jo I went to in japan. I just don7t really no the place that well other than the marked out runs. Over at kagura I know a few of the tree areas that hold some of my best powder slices

sanjo 2
Lets have a Gala day this coming season shall we? Must be on a weekday.
Tubby Beaver 209
I'd love too but getting weekdays off that aren't public hols is almost impossible and it kinda negates the whole non-weekend day
stemik 14
Naeba for me. I will ski there in March if all goes well this coming season.

Kinda regret it but hey ho, the holidays at other times of the year make up for it.
nippontiger 8
Kagura is still number one for me! Also, I really enjoyed Kandatsu where I would often go when it was a powder day but expected to be windy - on windy days Kagura is often very limited with upper lifts closed, but Kandatsu is in a sheltered valley so most of it can stay open even when the wind is quite strong. I havent been there for a few years though - still never been when the Milky Way black run was open.

Slippery Jim 65
I think Naeba is a great ski mountain, but it's usually just too crowded and you'd have to pass Kagura to get there, so...
