TropicalPow 0
Just watched "Light the Wick" on dvd . Great movie , but I had to laugh. Just before a segment on Alaska, a yankee guy named Sage Cattabriga-Alosa commented , "I'm so excited to be leaving America and heading for Alaska " Poor fella, I wonder if someone should tell Him ? sand 17
thing is though (and I may be wrong), I would assume that while Americans take Alaska and Hawaii as being part of The US, many view these 2 states in a very different light than the lower 48.
TropicalPow 0
I am hearing you Sand , but I guess then they normally would be saying "leaving the lower 48 for Alaska" No biggey, just made me laugh.

sand 17
regardless, Light the Wick has some sick as f#*& segments. Sage dropping in down a spine wall to pull a flatspin over a massive crevasse gap. also loved the powder segment at Jackson, so deep, brings a smile to my face every time I watch it

norcal 5
Jay Leno (I believe) used to do something like this. Go out to the street and ask simple questions and get horrible results, and the idiots thinking it's funny to be so stupid. I don't think it's just an American thing though, I fear that the world is just getting dumber....although we are probably in the lead lol.
