rider69 18
The fine print was read but the online box for snow sports was left unchecked. If an agent was involved the mistake would never have happened. As it is no operation is required and the person will be in a cast for 8 weeks.
HelperElfMissy 42
Ouch! A cast and back in Oz over summer - yuk! Got a few niggles myself - but soldiering on.

On the serious note, I feel lucky that all I needed for the last 5 times broken bone injuries just needed painkillers. Nothing serious, no surgery.

Valve Bounce 0
You guys!!!!!!!! I was like that many, many years ago - thought I was made of rubber. In those days, I rode my motorcycle to uni without a helmet, and just ordinary trousers. Even smoked between lectures. Never entered my mind that I could ever get hurt. It is only in more recent years that I realised I wasn't made of rubber.

Fall off get up dust yourself off and get back on. Discovered as I got older you don't actually bounce as well even though I have MUCH MORE padding now I hit the ground and lay there in agony!! So I have taken up a much safer sport SKIING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One called Captain Jack nearly killed me.
Jynxx 4
I bounce but still my bone breaks. I´m still much flexible than most people at any age, other than people in the circus. As long as it is a clean break, I don´t mind. But, yeah, I´m learning to back off a bit. By the way, I fell on my left shoulder yeasterday. This one had been out a bit since I fell on my elbow 2 years ago. It went crack and hurt a bit, but lo! it went back in (to where it´s supposed to be?) and got better! Doesn´t hurt anymore (it´s been there the last year or so) and got better movement. Bonus !
iiyamadude 6
Sounds like you have a lot of experience of breaking bits there Jynxx. Never broken anything myself, even though I'm mad gnarly.
Jynxx 4
I started breaking bones when some people have mid life crisis. Didn´t break when I was younger. Hence the yogult to increase bone density. This snowboarding. This is hardcore! I thought I´d never hurt myself falling in powder. But yesterday, I dug my nose and cartwheeled. Strained the side of my body (chest to waist). First run. But the rest of the day was greaaaat! This morning is a bit ouchy.
