HelperElfMissy 42
Yes you very well may. But I think Thursday was talking about flying directly into Sapporo. One of the benefits of coming from HK, I suppose.
NoFakie 45
Strictly speaking, Minty is right in that Hakuba is "a train ride" from Tokyo on the Azusa. Only one a day but you won't have to lug any gear between changes. You can get a bus from Shinjuku too which goes maybe six or eight times a day in winter. Unless you want to shop for gear in Tokyo first, I think Chuo Taxi direct from the airport is best though. They give you VIP chauffeur treatment. I wouldn't get the Shinkansen myself with gear. Too much hassle.

munnuz 0
Thanks for your help everyone. Yes I am new to this forum, and it's awesome. I hate travel agents, and if the airlines are taking the piss and charging the earth for flights, that will make my mind up pretty quickly. And f I'm going to get good snow in both places, brilliant. Thanks for the links Iiyamadude.

Schneebored 0
Whilst we are on the subject of asking impossible questions...anyone care to have a stab at these? Can fat people go skinny dipping? Can you be a closet claustrophobic? Why is the word "abbreviation" so long? Is it possible to be totally partial? What's another word for thesaurus? If you are cross-eyed and have dyslexia, can you read all right? When it rains, why don't sheep shrink? Should vegetarians eat animal crackers? If someone with multiple personalities threatens to kill himself, is it considered a hostage situation? Would a fly without wings be called a walk?

RobBright 35
If the UK, then cod more than likely.
thursday 1
According to northerners, Cod is a southerner's fish. They prefer haddock or halibut. I'm used to seeing menus like: Plaice n chips Cod n chips skate n chips Halibut n chips. Fish & Chips just sounds too Maccas.
CptSlow 0
Or here it would be normally be tarakihi, gurnard or snapper, they are the most popular ones any way.
HelperElfMissy 42
Here "fish" is likely to be Snapper. But this thread is now
thursday 1
The fish MUST be flakey and moist. Cod is a good fish for this 'cos it's very flakey and had large amounts of omega 3 fats to keep it luverly n poist Before: After:
Mantas 3
.....and by now Andrew Munro must be wondering how his sincere query about the age old dilemma of 'Hakuba vs Niseko' has turned into a review of international fried fish.
