big-will 7
I just don't understand American football. Do they still have the shoulder pads, or was that just an 80's fashion phase? Don't understand baseball either.

They are always surprised at the body contact in Aussie Rules or Rugby League and the minimal padding worn.

thursday 1
Saw a bit of a Japanese drama on TV. Guy on date with girlfriend. They're expected back at his mum's for lunch. Mum had prepared loadsa food. He procrastinates from one shop to the next. Girl eventually gets fed up. They go back to his mum's in late afternoon. Mum opens the door in a funny mask expecting to cheer her boy up. Mum sees girlfriend for first time. Embarrasment both sides. Excellent.

best skier in hakuba 5
SMAP in general. So astonishingly and blatantly not talented in the singing department. Especially that Nakai (?) one. The one with all the over the top pompous posturing, dancing and 'acting'. They do make me laugh.
