It is not. Unfortunately we are making some changes today that is preventing us from editing out junk. Sorry about that. The blizzards will be gone in a few hours when we get our full functionlity back.

Unfortunately we also seem to have a few jokers in Hakuba who see fit to repeatedly come back to the page and click on blizzard. We don't know who they are but if it is the same people who have been doing it the last few days, they will very soon be blocked from using this website. We would hope they would have other better things to do with their time, and things that were more positive, but alas it seems not to be the case.

Don't worry, each day we will be monitoring this and junk that gets posted will get weeded out. Just in the case of today we can't do it as quickly as usual.

As I have also said elsewhere, we will be hoping that in the big picture and once the season gets started, the big majority of the data will be valid and all nice and correct. To make sure that's the case, we ask all good-intentioned people to please take a few seconds to vote when you can.

friend

Thanks!

same site but with 4 extra days into the future. With freeze level dropping to below 1000 meters on Saturday, you'd think snow must be likely. It's saying 7cm mid-mountain on Monday but I wouldn't trust a 6 day forecast.

Edited: NOT with 4 extra days --- 6 days are displayed on our pages.

no blizzards here yet in Hakuba, but do hope it comes soon....kids need to get out!

On another note, there are a few international tourists walking round with not much to do...

One option is to go snowshoeing. You can go up the gondola and spend time and have lunch on the mountain tops.

For those who are not aware of this, 6 day forecasts are posted on our resort pages.

Click on 'TOP', 'MIDDLE', 'BOTTOM' for the table to appear showing the forecast for the different parts of the resort area.
