siamesetwin 0
Is it true that quite a few different companies run places like Happo, Ishiuchi Maruyama and Zao (and I presume others)? Always wondered how to they split the revenues up in cases like that? Thanks.
muikabochi 208
I'm sure someone will be able to give you a better answer but I think Ishiuchi is owned by 3 companies. They split the revenues up by how many people ride their lifts. (And I think, say, a long quad lift gets a bigger importance than a short single lift). Don't know exactly, though I bet there's lots of squabbles!
SKI 15
For those with the electronic tickets, this will be fairly simple. Based on the number of lift rides and as muika said different lifts will have different 'points' (value). For those with paper tickets, not as easy. Thats why you often see dudes with the people count clicker machine when you go through.
2pints-mate 0
Who stops them clicking too much or not enough on purpose of not?

KRUSTY 2
One of the lift companies I worked for would occasionally take the electronic tickets that were returned mid afternoon and run them past the scanners at the gate to increase their share of the takings.
