I am too lazy to look back at the Now reports but it was 2 or 3 years ago when many parts of Japan had relentless huge snowfalls that did cause problems. Other than the fact transportation was stopped etc, some people I remember saying that some people were put off going skiing/snowboarding because there was "too much snow". How's this. You go boarding and you get stranded can't get out. Food is running out so there is s heli drop. People are shoveling snow off the roof or otherwise it will crush the building. State of emergency. Does that sound silly...

No of course it doesn't.

 

But saying you are not going to go snowboarding because there is 'too much snow', even on sunny days when the trains are still moving etc, is.

 

And that is the point that gg was making.
