onsen tamago 0
Hi folks new here, been lurking a bit but took the plunge. The week after next I'm off on a trip to Fukushima and will be fairly close to Inawashiro. Was just wondering if anyone on here is near there and what the resort might be like. Thanks! Tubby Beaver 209
I've been up to Alts Bandai and Gran Deco before which if i remember correctly aren't so far away. Alts is a great resort if the snow is decent, it was crusty when I went last year. Lots of park areas if thats your thing but also a lot of trees in the resort boundaries. Gran Deco is a small resort, but has some decent runs, when I went there the snow was great and we had the hill to ourselves till lunchtime. After a day though you'll prob be a little bored
fukdane 2
Hi onsen tamago While not on the doorstep, it's not that far from where I live (25 minutes or so). It's a fairly decent place looking at it on it's own mountain. 2 main parts to it connected up and I suppose best suited to lower-intermediate level skiers (aren't most resorts here?!) Definitaly have a good day there as long as the snow co-operates. There's a page on it in the Spotlights page of this site if you're interested.

BagOfCrisps 24
Sorry onsen tamago, I missed this. We spent a short time there in January. It was a decent place, nothing special as such though not much of a challenge - I prefer a bit more than it offered.
