scouser 4 Posted May 24, 2008 Share Posted May 24, 2008 Aren't parrots ace? In the paper today about a parrot in Chiba. The owner left the window open by mistake and the pet parrot flew out. And got lost. Fast forward some days and someone catches the parrot and takes to the police where the parrot tells the police his name "Nakamura Yousuke kun", full address and starts singing! Makes me laugh coz I remember teaching child number one (while I was still early preggers with number 2 so he must have been 12 - 14 months old) to learn his name and address in case he got lost. I stuck his name, our names and our address on the front door (inside the house) and everytime we went out the door we 'read' it together and rehearsed what he would say if he got lost. Maybe if we owned a parrot at the time he would have picked it up too!! Link to post Share on other sites
