NoFakie 45
Good to see this picking up a bit. I was thinking of posting "I Travel" from the Minds' Can phase, but it wasn't really a hit. More Scots here, and no, not the bespectacled ones. Some classic 80s posturing from Billy Edwin funks it up and quotes the Buzzcocks This intense lady and the wannabe Duke of Northumberland. NoFakie 45
I think he shagged everyone he could get his hands on, male or female! Soft Cell were supposedly the first British band to heavily use ecstacy. It was years before the Happy Mondays etc. The 12" of that one ends with him shouting "I don't care!" again and again. Its great! This is about as 80s as it gets.

veronica 2
Well here is an Anton Corbijn-assisted antidote to the plinky plonky sillypop of Just Can't Get Enough. And we're still in the 80's! Pimpf
gerard 6
Cool thread. Mr. Wiggle's stuff is interesting. I also kind of like Simple Minds and Tears for Fears... This should be up here too. Very 80's. I guess their marketing was like "Hey look at David Byrnes. Nobody's THAT wierd. Gotta buy this one." But he's also just really good.
charlotte 0
I really like early Tears For Fears, I still really like their first two albums. There was some fantastic music in the 80s.
