OkemoLoon 0
Japan does have a lot of burger joints but most just don't stack up to ones back home. So who makes the best burgers in Japan? (i can't believe i actually created this thread my sickness is driving me delirious)
RobBright 35
Try out standard burger in Shinjuku - opposite the terrace entrance near Times Square.
HelperElfMissy 42
Kids wanted burgers for lunch in Tokyo a lot - and it was easy to do ... but in the end I skipped lunch everyday - I think I managed maybe 3 or 4 bites of the burgers on 2 occassions before I realized it was just not worth the effort! Might have to take note of Standard Burger in Shinjuku for next time. I just do not know how the kids eat that stuff!!
Tubby Beaver 209
Beckers Burgers are the best Fast Food Option IMO. There is a place in Kamakura called Spiral that serves awesome burgers!! Its not a fast food joint though, more an American Diner/restaurant. Apparently there is a Hawaiian burger place in Kamakura as well, on the way to the beach that is good, I've never been though. Freshness Burger also does decent burgers

muikabochi 208
I'm surprised no-one has mentioned McDonalds, lovely as they are.
OkemoLoon 0
Ok, I have tried Mos Burger, Freashness Burger, and McDonalds and they are all garbage IMHO. I guess the best burger I have had in Japan would be one I had at Outback. Gonna check out Kua'aina though.
thursday 1
MOS Burgers are great. MOS stands for Mountain, Ocean, Sun. What can be better than that. Freshness burger is also very nice. And for a really over the top burger, go for the Kobe beef hamburger. Had that i n the Shearton here, so 'spose the Tokyo Sheraton.

Tubby Beaver 209
although I haven't been since I got back, I remember the burgers at TGI Fridays as being pretty good. TBH the best burger is the homemade one!!
thursday 1
Home made burgers are great, so long as you keep it all beef. No beef/pork hybrid please.
best skier in hakuba 5
My g/f makes some great burgers. No skimping on the cheese either. I actually do quite like Mos though. They have a limited period chilli burger out later this week.

Kingofmyrrh 0
OK, the answer to this one is simple. AS Classics, on Komazawa Dori. You can get there using the Toyoko sen or Denentoshi sen. Seriously, this place has the best burgers I've had anywhere, not just Japan.
OkemoLoon 0
Alright King, thanks for the info. I will def have to hit that joint up. nippontiger 8
Kua Ainas burgers are big and usually pretty good, but theyve been a bit overdone on occasion. Freshness burgers classic burgers are nice, but for something a bit more unusual, how about R-Burger in Roppongi? R-burger Review
thursday 1
"R Burger's menu offers three basic burger patties - pork, chicken and maguro tuna - plus several spring-roll-style wraps and a few side items. " YOU WHAT MAN? WHERE'S THE BEEF?
