SnowJapan.Com#3 0
A new Niseko Magic feature, "White Fun", has been put online. http://www.snowjapan.com/e/features/niseko-magic-18.html "Mass media hype has placed much expectation on Niseko for Season 2004. After last year’s early snow, keen powder seekers - egged-on by wide-eyed ground operators - booked early December holidays only to discover Niseko bare. Rapid cancellations and complaints of late snow! rang out across the waves. But how late is this season and now that the snow has arrived, what changes have Niseko resorts implemented to make 2004 more fun than ever?" http://www.snowjapan.com/e/features/niseko-magic-18.html Please note that the views expressed in any Features on Snow Japan are not necessarily those of Snow Japan. Discuss it here....
xxx 2
If I print out that ticket on my color laser printer on nice paper, could I use that?

Ocean11 0
White Fun is for when the white man's burden gets too much? I shee. Is this the booze and cold pills icon? No wait, here it is
rach 1
That was good, thanks! Now, if only I could decide to get myself up there.
Fattwins 0
150000 for a seasons pass ouch. I paid 30000 man for mine at tsugaike. 84000 is a bit much too. Look at killer resorts in the states and America thats much too much. Hope they do well by pushing to open open ropes should make other resorts follow suit.
mina2 6
That is a lot. Nice write up, making me want to get on my board NOW. Very little snow here in Gunma so far this year.
cal 6
Interesting deal on all those tickets - certainly seems pricey. Did you have a hangover, O11?

That combination works best for Mad Scientists and varnish removal! I don't even want to think about it. After an unpleasant accident involving 9 bottles of India Pale Ale and assorted cheap reds, I am on the wagon. And getting thirsty again...
oo 1
Perhaps it should have been called: "Dirt Fun" or "Brown Fun". Nice article, shame about the lack of snow.
brightblack 0
I've just got back from Niseko - it's a bit bare and bumpy in places, but hirafu was still a good time - beats Kusatsu on a peak day! Anyhow, I agree the new passport system is an improvement, but the new gates a re a bit odd with the rotating turnstyle, rather than the simple gate - a few times it caught my back binding , or the back of my leg. No biggie, but an odd design.
