thwackkk 0
Hi all! I'd like to approach any resort nighclubs/bars on the island with some demos of me DJing....with a view to trading some nights DJing, for accomodation on or near the mountain + any other perks that may be offered. Can anyone tell me the names or possible contact details of nightclubs on or near the mountain that play dance music? Thanks in advance
Go Native 70
I know a heap of nightclubs and bars in the Niseko region and know quite a few of the owners but as I hate dance music with a passion I just couldn't live with myself if I helped you out

thursday 1
GN, that is just not the attitude to take. Each to his own. Dance music blasted at Hana would make a change.
thwackkk 0
Cheers for all responses. I play a pretty wide range of sounds....but nothing commercial. From sexy house, through nu-jazz sounds, minimal, melodic tekno, dark tek, progressional, glitch/funk...even a bit of DnB. What are people into over there???? I'd really love to do a two week trip and maybe play every second or third night. If anyone has the names of clubs, just to narrow my search a bit.....

tsondaboy 0
Sorry, the link is only in Japanese, but here are the details of almost all clubs around Sapporo city. http://www.clubberia.com/Club/Search/?keyword=&area=23 I am based in Tokyo, so can’t really say which are the big ones. Psy-trance/House/Hip-hop scene is pretty big here, so I don’t think you will have problems finding somewhere to play. Definitely you will be able to Guest DJ 1-2 nights, but can’t be sure about residency. Hope this helps.

THanks very much for trying, but the link won't open for me fully as all characters are in Japanese. If anyone could possibly pass on the contact details (email preferably) of all the clubs noted in the link, and any other that you might know, i'd really appreciate it! spook 0
yep, i know what it means, i just find it hilarious. going off topic... there's heaps of words i find amusing. i like how kiwi's refer to a beach holiday house as a "batch". i defy anyone to listen to a new zealander say "batch" and not burst out laughing. TJ OZ 0
There was no shortage of djs in Hakuba last season. i think the going rate was about 3000 yen and your drinks paid for. I don't know if anyone would trade a bed for playing some tunes.
