ausi ski bum 1
Spook Drovers Dream was an area the real Drovers tied up their horses or grazed cattle prior to their being a resort. Really nice area to ski if your learning. the best skier here such temperature changes are not unusual in June and then again in September. In reality we are lucky we get snow at all if only covers 0.01% of the Australian land mass.
OzOzOz 2
I'm hoping to be seeing out some snow in 10 days
the best skier here 0
Right, it will be early and late season for you then. I suppose that 20cm didn't last long. How's it going now?
ausi ski bum 1
We have about 65 cm of snow and its snowing a little most days, on track for an average season
ausi ski bum 1
Good snowfalls today have taken the base over 1 metre and this weekend at Falls Creek 100% of the mountain will be open for the first time in 2 years. This time last year we had only 17cm, how bad was that. Heading off tomorrow after work to spend the weekend skiing

slow 0
My friend called me very late last night, he was on the chair lift in Chile. I'm so jealous...
miller 1
Chile? That sounds awesome. I didn't imagine there would be lots of snow there (for some ignorant reason!)
Tubby Beaver 209
Miller, Chile is made up of one of the highest mountain ranges in the world, the Andes!! They travel up the whole length of Chile and also straddle the border into argentina. Apparently some of the best skiing in the world, would love to go!! But need to get better so I can handle such a steep slope!!
miller 1
Naruhodo... some of the best in the world. Thats something I've learned today, thanks.
