Don't steal it. When did it become ok to steal things?

I am hoping to go to Kyoto over summer, staying for 3 nights. Have heard from a lot of people how you need to get it right otherwise it comes across as just a big noisy city and so I'm doing a lot of research before I go. Really looking forward to it.

They let me escape for 3 weeks. Starting last day of July.

Right, it will be early and late season for you then. I suppose that 20cm didn't last long. How's it going now?

Well, I would have to choose yotei as well. But... near where I live I think there is spectacular scenery in the Shiga Kogen - Sugadaira area of Nagano. Take some of the tiny roads up the mountains. Fantastic place.

Now I live near Nagano city, but previously I lived in Tokyo and also at spent 8 years near Niseko. Lucky me

Niseko is a wonderful place and offers excellent skiing. I know it well and I am now based in Nagano so know this region well also. If it was just about snow, I would choose Niseko every time. I went last season and there were no problems there that I could see. We had a really fun few days with a lot of nightlife as well. Great times.

It might be idea to do both - try Club Med for half the time and then self catering the rest of time.

Both skiing and snowboarding, but skiing is my thing really.
