panhead_pete 27
A malibu surfboard. Big, long, fat and slow. Normally ridden by guys with the same attributes and receding hair lines. Mals riders were stoked about the advent of boogie board riders as it put someone lower in the heirachy then them in the water. Yes Indo, its a pathetic day, never thought it would happen. Had borrowed one last summer. I guess i bettter get the red sports car and young girlfriend and complete the mid life crisis. There just isnt any waves in Perth over summer and its the only way without serious travel. Well thats my story and i am sticking to it PS I just hope none of the Mal riders I hung sh#t on for 30 years see me, well actually I hope no one I know sees me
bushpig 0
mate, even WITH a mal, you'll be lucky to get any waves in Perth in summer. I always used to put the board away (other than out-of-town trips) during the summer there.
bushpig 0
you're more likely to score some wind-chop on the Swan!
Mudguts 0
Only place to get waves in Perth in summer is Trigg point, but you have to share with 50 guys and if you drop in on any of them they wanna rip ya head off. Stricklands at Rotto has excellent waves in summer, but that dark, deep water and the 10 min paddle out there scare the crap outta me now.
bushpig 0
yeah, that qualifies as an outta town trip though. The fisherman out there report seeing white pointers quite regularly too. Scary place.
Mantas 3
I confess.. I looked at some in a board shop a little while ago...but I only looked ...honest...I...I.... only looked!
HeatherLocklearRocks 1
Old skiers wear funky tight ski pants. I love seeing that stuff.
