Taking stuff from hotels

I have found that sachets of shampoo etc I have taken in the past don't get used so they just go to waste, not good of course.

It's there for us to use.

 

Taking disposable things that are there for us to use as paying guests..... is surely not stealing.

Not really stealing but we have a problem with people forgetting to hand in their room keys when they check out.

We get a frantic call from the hotel and have to try and track down the key.

There's nothing sufficiently desirable in hotels to be worth taking.

 

Although I'd like to have 'taken' the mistress of the last hotel we stayed at. She was at least 50 and all dolled up smart-like in her kimono, but very well preserved and seemingly up for it. If I hadn't been encumbered with baggage, I would have tried a bit of thievery there.

I have a mate who is an airline pilot and the crews have contests to see who can nick the biggest thing from their room. Among those items I have heard of room pot plants and a full size ironing board!
