Wow, is that something that would normally happen over there? It sure is good to hear things like that. -
Kamakura looks interesting and close to Tokyo too. Thanks!

WIN 10,0,22,87 What do all those numbers mean I wonder? -
Just to add - not sure exactly where to go yet but was thinking probably some of the main resort places on Honshu. Nikko seems fairly simple to get to from Tokyo for a short trip. That kind of thing is fine.

I will be one of them with my strong Yorkshire accent. -
I just saw muikabochi's thread on Nikko and it looks lovely. I'm really keen to see some decent temples when I am in Japan but wondering where might be good. I'm sure Kyoto is, but it isn't really in the region I am planning on going to and would be a trip. So I'm wondering which temples/areas you like and would recommend? Thanks

I enjoyed POTA 2, 3 and 4. Good movies. They don't belong here! Perhaps the remake does though! -
I always seem to wake up a few minutes before my alarm clock is set to ring. I think it's because it's really loud and annoying and I really just don't want to hear it!

Snow! yay! -
Last night I watched the movie Indecent Proposal with my guy. Anyone seen it? It has it's fair amount of cheese and frankly very silly bits but it was actually quite entertaining and even thought provoking at times. Robert Redford looking ever so slightly wrinkly and offering $1m for a night with Woody's wife, Demi Moore because they say that money can't buy anything and Rob wants to test it. I can't say I have heard of those stories but I suppose there will be the weird ones wherever you are. Growing up in the UK I'm used to taking care of myself here so I'll just apply the same carefulness I suppose like I would everywhere.
