Sorry David, it wasn't very funny. Certainly not worthy of a new thread and it's in my gallery anyway. For what it's worth, I don't think they're particularly similar. I couldn't remember what the pepsi logo looked like till I checked it online after all this chatter. The photoshop (actually gimp) effort was mainly to see if I could figure out how to put a full-sized image into a thread, which I couldn't . I'll carry on trying with a different pic. -

I agree. Look at them side by side and you can see they're both completely different. -

apparently not. He said contact the online shop in germany. lol It's like they don't want to sell their stuff. -

the sp fastec distributor said there's no XL sizes in japan. I'm wondering if that's really true. -

Tubby, did you notice if they have XLs? -
Looks good. I'll have a play around soon. At first glance, has "date joined" info gone? It use to be under people's avatar with post count. You're probably still tweaking this, but there seems to be a lot of lines under some people's avatar which unnecessarily stretches the height of short posts. If that makes sense...

Powder board for a big guy

Never Summer do Raptor X in 169cm with 26.9cm waist. Sounds like a good powder board for big feet. -

I've been looking for SP Fastecs online and only found some pretty obscure sites selling them. My favorite online shop doesn't stock them. Can anyone recommend somewhere? -
Powder board for a big guy

I've just ordered a Lib Tec Skunk Ape C2 BTX wide board from Backcountry.com. It's 172cm, waist 26.8cm. I'm 6'4", boot size US 12.5. They do a 180cm but I think that would be cumbersome outside of powder. (I tried out a 180cm no-brand 2 seasons ago for a few days and obviously it was great on powder but unwieldy on groomed runs.) My current board is a Ride 165cm, waist 27cm. Good board but I always felt for such a wide board it should have been a bit longer. Imagine riding a tray. If you're 6'5", 165cm will seem like nothing. My advice is go a few centimeters longer than you think you -

Thanks MB, I hadn't heard of SP Fastecs. But you're saying even Fastecs are more difficult than regular bindings if you wipe out in deep powder? Is that because they're harder to take off? That's another thing I heard about Flows - they're faster to put on but slower to take off. -
I'm thinking of getting some. But I heard they might be more difficult to put on in powder then regular bindings. As riding pow is what I like to do most, that's a worry. Anyone here got Flows? What do you think?
