Domokun_72dpi replied to tmc_girls's topic in Snow talk, trip reports, Japan avalanche & backcountry
can I tack a question on here plz, what is a half-pipe like?, I am an old skater, and used to concrete, metal & wood. I imaging the half pipe is one hell hard concrete-like fast ice experience. Looks amazing, but scary =) -

wow, that is big. Haven't heard a thing about it here. It is something that travel agents & the government should notify opeople of. Whats next?, DNA? -
Hey All. I am considering bringing over a GPS to track my movements on the slopes. Is anyone into this?. I know many mountain bikers use them, as many tracks are "single tracks", and very hard to find in the state forest. it's aslo sweet, as some cameras associate GPS data, so you can plot where you took the picture, and associate an image to a map. really opens up the door for a new level of Geek. Any thoughts?, I am gonna ask for either a GPS, or maybe a camera with GPS....

Mate, I just experienced the same., I bought a board from over East, same deal, just too long, so I hate to have it put on a Freight carrier byt Road. Unfortunately, for you, i think other than getting a friend to take it for you, it's gonna cost a fortune. Why not send it to Hakuba C/O Fattwins, with a big red ribbon around it with a note saying: Here Domokun_72dpi, enjoy! best wishes in finding a good postal source mate, that is a bugger of a situation. Perhaps you can cut 5 cms off? =(

Promite spreads the others away (god thats a corny line). Oh, and from wikipedia, so U know it is true lol: Quote: Promite has a sweeter taste, darker colour and a softer, more spreadable texture than Vegemite. Did you know marmite has been around since 1902? Their Marketing is "Love it or hate hate it" , which pretty much sums it up. Brilliant website too: http://www.marmite.com/ Aaah. Me, I prefer Peanut Butter as well.
