I both ski and board. At Hakuba Iwatake on the 23rd of this month I spent the first 1/2 a day boarding and then after I found a somewhat unknown run (actually most of which is a service road) I slapped on a pair SL skis and spent the last 1/2 of the day pretending I was outrunning an avalanche down that 4 kilometer road! Whoooooosh! Killer stuff! I love watching any cool crashes! But boarders do more headplants and faceplants than any other group! .

First a little background on myself. I have worked at MANY ski resorts in the USA so I suppose I have a pretty good eye for both the runs and the resort operations in general. - K, that's enough about me. Hakuba Iwatake is a very good resort. If you're into the girl chase it's perhaps the best in the Nagano area! That said it is not the very best in that area. Nagano is an area that is basically back to back ski resorts. In 23 min. I was able to ride to 7 different resorts, pull up in the parking area and get a good look at each of the resort bases. The Bridge To Terabithia. I haven't seen all of it but some guys working on have been passing me some shots now and then so I've seen maybe 1/2 of it. Now that the trailer is out (yesterday I think) I guess it's ok to talk up. This looks really killer guys! And some of the shots I've seen were just breath-taking!

Yeah, all the Canon one's will let you select English as the panel language and you can get English drivers for them. Epson is region based and not selectable and I dunno about HP or Kodak but I think I remember reading the Kodak was the same case as Canon. I kinda found it odd that Epson would not have language selection available. Pack in a ways from the Arizona side! Awesome experience! If I ever get all my negs scanned in I'll put some shots up on the web. Some just drop-dead gorgeous rock formations, colors, and lighting. And packing, you are there - submerged and living in it. Some really kewl wildlife to mess with too.

Definitely takes a F***-yeah-goforit attitude and a beefy stick to ride that juice! I'd do it in a second! Getting hureled would be a drag but hey, ya only live once!
