  1. Was it handling it OK? Mereweather was about as big as it gets on the sets. Some were calling it 10 foot.
  2. M- Bay today. Maxing out a bit. A lot of close outs and clean ups. Mantas on the side lines today. The Law about to get womped. Looking down toward Dixon Park Not doing it properly
  3. Absolute shocker. 3 attempts at getting out at Merewether today. Attempt 1- Slipped arse up on the rocks, jumped off, washed straight to the beach. Attempt 2- Smashed 10 feet across the rocks by a wave back into the baths. Attempt 3- Jumped out off the pump house, dragged across the rock shelf, leg rope got caught and I was pinned under water for about as long as my breath could hold. Finally released the legrope and got washed all the way across the rock shelf. Feet slashed to the shithouse....Faaaark
  4. Go hugh! That kid is ripping..... Looks like he knows he's way around the mountain pretty well too. BTW the kid that cleans up his dad in the first video. His name is Hugh. You can hear his dad yell "go Hughy"

  8. God's? Are you talking about Nihwatu? The long left also sometimes called Occys left. Looks like a filthy wave. I'm booked for the 22nd June. I have one week before I meet the family in Bali. Then I have 3 weeks with them. I have a whole year to plan my week of freedom. Big southerly groundswell hitting here on Friday. They are talking 10 foot plus!
  9. So much road kill down there. Hundreds of dead wombats and roos. On our last day there was a wombat hanging around the cabin. The kids were stocked to see an alive one.
  10. Fly into Jakarta mate. I could change though. I just jumped on some frequent flyer tickets while they were available. Have you been to Sumba?
  11. Apocalypse..a mental as a wave that your ever likely to see.
  12. I wouldn't have thought so. The pre school where my wife works refuses to install air con. Their arguement is that the kids should get used to the heat. I have to agree. People have become 'conditioned' to air conditioning. What was once a luxury is now the norm. It's a luxury we can't afford.
  13. Yeah, a week was all I could get. I'm thinking west Java or even Panaitan Island. Pretty heavy breaks out there though. One palm can peel you like an orange. a mate of mine did a trip there and they had special suit made up to surf it.

Then presented with a commemorative album and DVD of the occasion. Bloody kids today
  16. There you go Mama. I'm sure you'll appreciate this. Here The boys certainly had fun on these bumps.
  17. Yep, I just ooze 'prenatal androgenization and symmetry' when I'm on the floor.

  21. Mount Hutt avalanches The destructive earthquake also caused some avalanches on the Mount Hutt ski field, which is popular with Australian holidaymakers. The ski area manager, David Wilson, says they are assessing the infrastructure to decide whether or not to open the ski field.
