Great weekend gang. FT thanks for lending me gear and taking us out to a great spot. i have both routes saved and hope i get a chance to hit it again. pretty sweet for what i thought was going to be a weekend of resort skiing (i've learned my lesson no more leaving anything in Tokyo).

almost anything will slide under the right conditions, safe travel techniques minimize the impact if you do happen to be there when it does. i'm very sad to hear about this. i've skied with Simon and with the Sukayu Onsen guides before. i was invited to go there two weeks ago for a tour with the head guide. i have a lot of thoughts going through my head about this and can't sort them all out right now. i need to read the reports.
