  1. better make a reservation!!!or be prepared to stand cramped in the aisles its not pleasent eithere way.
  2. I think both of you are too extreme to be right. I'm no fan of george bush & have lived almost my whole adult life outside the us. the worst part of this whole mess is it's a real possability that in ten years this whole thing could look kindly on bush & history will remember him as some kind of brave soul with foresight instead of the bumbling greedy extremist that he is. also you have to remember bush is basically a stooge in this tragedy I'm more afraid of some of the people around him.i.e. cheney, rumsfeld
  3. I'm down for that! Just got my city walk sched yesterday & looks like I actually have a couple of weekend days open. but still waiting on my namba parks sched. do you have a place in mind?
  4. My wife kept her maiden name & I kept mine. My daughter has two passports one japanese & one us the japanese one has her japanese surname & her us one has her western surname. no middle name. My wife keeping her maiden name has made somethings easier here I think but I really couldn't say what. My house loan & small buissness loan are in my name so I dont think it matters to much. more just a personal pref. but more importantly is congrats & good luck!!
  5. If your living here more than one year I implore you to get your Japanese drivers lic. the laws here can be very strict & even though japan is not thought of as a litigation society once you get into the court system its timely & costly. my mate also got popped & now can't drive in this country for two years. I got my lic. in three trys but evryone else that was there was on there 4th to 7th try. The reason they fail you again & again is because the money from tking the test goes into the police retirement fund. ( #$@%&@#@$@#) good luck!!
  6. maybe they should lace those hunters foods with some good bc butter then they would forget what they were doing out in the middle of nowhere eh

  10. well as the winter now turns into spring ski & snowboards are packed away & its time to turn to some of the warmer sports. sailing or yachting as its sometimes known as is a very exciting fun & challenging sport that can also be very social. there is a great sailing scene here in japan & its also not very expensive. ( hard to believe) there are some really good deals out there to be had. anyone intrested should check out these websites www.sailfuel.ws www.sailjapan.com
  11. swing or lindy hop is nothing like wham! In Tokyo you can look up the Tokyo swing societys home page on yahoo japan. They have weekly get togethers with a lesson If you cant dance your just standing.
  12. I think the best defence is to igore them or the koban one is great. alot of these losers are on speed & should never be under estimated as with any potential opponent. some friends of mine had a run in with some & it turned out to be one big bloody fight & as always here the police are either impotent or on the take from these guys bosses. ( know your enemy better than you know yourself) from the art of war
  13. swing dancin is also sometimes known as jive or jitterbug. its couple dancing that was originaly inveted in black harlem & trickled into mainstream america through famous dance hllas such as the savoy.although unlike the ballroom basterdised version its way more DIRTY & DOWN LOW. Its easy to learn a basic swing out & dancing cheek to cheek with a bunch of preety girls is always a good thing. there is also a good scene in tokyo klingklang
