CB, I'm gonna tell them where to put that meeting on the 26th. So no, no hassles for getting up that way. I know what you mean about Taz. Life is certainly never dull with him around. He's pretty considerate of your space too. -

yeah, it's better than an office job sitting at a desk all day. IT has it's moments. Toque, was that to me? About the 3 day weekend before that. If it was, then no, I have to work on the 24th as well -

He's off this weekend eh? You must be looking forward to getting the place to yourself again. You heading up for the weekend CB? The bastards here called a meeting for the 26th!! I'm piking out on that one. -
vinegar fumes up the nose...... Sunrise, I'm not sure about hoke. I haven't heard that one before. Different regions do have different names for the same fish, but the dictionary very definitely has tara as cod. There may be different varieties of cod with different names too.

This is Atka Mackerel in all it's colourful glory Sunrise! http://www.afsc.noaa.gov/species/Atka_mackerel.htm Yeah, Schnapper, snapper, sea bream, all of them are Tai. All the same species (ie. bream, or variations of it). Anything finishing with tai or dai will get you close enough to what you want. Oh man.... We gotta stop this fish and chip talk so are you salt and vinegar, sauce or chicken salt fans?? I personally like salt and vinegar, sometimes chicken salt, and perhaps even both together...

yeah, I know that. Ans usually I ignore it and don't get worked up too much about it. But his comment that "You should be wary when there are foreigners around" really got my goat! That coming from a top cop on national TV...

At the end of the show they did a quick follow-up interview with the head of the unit, and they made a big deal about how many crimes are committed by foreigners recently. I know this isn't anything new in Japanese media, but it makes my blood boil to hear it. The chief even emphasized how foreigners are much more likely to get violent and dangerous when faced with arrest. When are they gonna pull their b
