Being the lazy kinda guy I am I tend to frequent the ski fields in the North Island, Turoa and Whakapapa. NOt bad places, facilities are somewhat limited compared to the Sth Island fields (at least they were the last time I went there) but the snow is just as good in my opinion. The bonus factor for me is my university has a ski lodge about 5 minutes from Turoa. And I get a massive discount when I use it looking forward to catching up with ya Farquah. Meet for drinks!!

Sounds like a plan sunrise. I fly out on the 15th of this month so the date is fast approaching What days are good for you sunrise? All of next week is free for me except the 14th (gotta do last minute packing of course ) Perhaps the 13th??? and of course Id stay on the board. I cant see my life getting busier than it is now..in fact its gonna be getting a whole lot more relaxing. And someones gotta update you guys and girls on the NZ winter!!

My season was over before it even begun. After a month and a half away in NZ over the summer, then coming back and no cash to do anything, and money tied up in the new house I got back in NZ..all adds up to no season for me very sad but I did spend a good month or so of surfing and Im gonna be heading into a NZ winter soon..."Always look on the bright side of life..do de do do do do do do do"

Im quite disappointed in the newspapers here. A few years ago the Japan times ran some funny articles from major companies that were actually April Fools jokes......hmmm I guess I should be disappointed in the companies for tightening their belts too much

going to Gisborne...gonna be brushing up on my surfing, growing some veges, hanging with the locals and generally leading a more relaxed, back to basics , kinda lifestyle. And me Jane but seriously yeah I do plan on coming back to visit all my friends and stuff. hopefully at least once a year. Japan is in my blood now

USed to hang out with a few friends who were your typical punks...had the look and the attitudes to boot. But honestly they were just average guys dressed up and trying to look different. If anything people tried to pick a fight with them more often than not. Im guessing just because they looked like punks and these guys wanted to try and show how tough they were.

well will be watching the Hurricanes Cats game although I already know the results....yay for rugby. Im even wearing my Hurricanes jersey
