  1. Ogasaka is the biggest and most popular. But it's mainly among Kiso (kind of old-school style) Skiers. That's the reason I don't take it, even though it's technically good. Actually ID-One skis is made by Ogasaka. But if it had been named Ogasaka, no free skier would have bought that.
  2. Happo still keeps plenty of snow. Today, temp was over 20C. I was skiing by wearing T-shirt only.

  4. I love skiing. Skiing bumps is like fuel for me. I also ski powder. It's great. But sometimes I see snowboarders making far bigger spray just beside me. It looks really fun. So I started snowboarding this season. Someday I'll spray like them. But I'll never stop skiing. If you're interested in freeride, check videos of X-games. Which do you like, Shaun White or Tanner Hall? It may help. Me? I like both, haha.
  5. Hi, I agree. I've been there around 10 years ago. RotenBuro (open-air bath) of Manza Prince Hotel was the No.1 RotenBuro I've ever been. It has really beautiful scenary in daylight.
  6. All, thanks for visiting my website and your comments. I'm really glad. All info is based on my experience. Since I hadn't known this forum till fairly recently, I thought foreigners had difficulties to get this kind of info. That's why I made that. Anyway this forum is really helpful and interesting, even for Japanese.
  7. telf, There are many night buses from Tokyo to snow resorts. You can get their brochures at travel agencies. Problem is all brochures are written in Japanese. But I guess travel agencies must have some staff who speak English. They will help you. Have you ever taken the buses before? If no, let me advise. It's really unpleasant. Sitting in narrow seat for over 5hours. Only advantage is fare. Following is the companies who runs night buses. http://www.orion-tour.co.jp/ http://www.bigs.co.jp/index.html
  8. Hi everyone. I'm Japanese. I really hate to listen to stupid music on slope. My wife , Japanese, has same opinion. It is probably because I don't like Japanese songs. If the music is my favorite, it'll be ok. How do you think? It's one of Japanese absurd custom. You can't escape from music wherever you go. Supermarket, coffee shop, barbarshop and so on.
  9. Exactly. Sometimes we, Japanese, use the expression. But it's not so common.
  10. Hi, I'm Japanese. That depends on where you go. Hokkaido region will keep good condition even in early April. It needs 1.5 hour flight from Tokyo. Around Tokyo, I can reccomend some resorts, such as Mitsumata-Kagura (someone already commented), Shiga-Kogen, Myoko, Nozawa and so on. They must have plenty snow but it must be pretty wet.
