  1. Hi Kemuri, My tip for you: Go Russia: Elbruz. I was there last year and it is fantastic. The people are sooo cool not like my stupid compatriots in Morzine or les 2 Alpes + snow is not bad at all (even though quite heavy)!!! How do u survive in Paris??!! In Japan so far only Hokkaido seems to be OK snow wise...Too bad air tickets are so horrendously expensive from Hong Kong to Sapporo. Take care
  2. Let's hedge our bets here: If we all acknowledge that winter is going to arrive late for most of Honshu, which should be the resorts with the most snow south of Hakodate...for Xmas? What about Arai? Hakkoda?
  3. I'm looking for a Japanese, family-run pension to have the "Japanese-experience" to stay the first week of April It seems that there are a lot of places run by Aussies that mostly cater to...Aussies. Even if we like the friendly people from Down Under, it would be good to be in a place with a more local feel... Do you have any place to recommend. I've heard of KIMAMAYA, RYU's, KINOKO, MT BASE ...
  4. Hi guys, I want to go skiing in Japan and can only go End of March to early April. Would you recommend: 1- ...to totally avoid! there is only slush left 2- ...not to hesitate! 3- ...some selected resorts where the conditions should be pretty good still Grazie Mille! Olivier de Hong Kong
